Re-Do

I came across this blog, Young House Love, and ever since I've been obsessed with remodeling our bathroom. We knew it would need to be done when we purchased the house. It's not really awful, it's just ugly. I hate the paint, the cabinet is old, the counter is that lovely white with gold flakes, the tile in the shower is cheap, and the window....don't get us started on that window.

                                                                       

There is a window in the shower. Great for light, horrible for cleaning. It's just not possible to keep a window clean when it's in your shower! Anyway, back to the point. I came across the blog, Young House Love, and I loved their bathroom remodel. After reading all of the posts about it, I saw how much it cost them and it really wasn't bad at all!

So, now I'd like to start saving up so that we can re-tile the shower, take out the window and replace it with glass block (maybe with a vent window at the top), put in a new vanity, countertop, and sink, paint, and new tile around the vanity. I dragged Ian to Home Depot last weekend to look at tiles and just to start thinking. We didn't agree on much. He likes really dark stuff and I like more natural, light colors.
Good thing we have plenty of time to figure it out!!
